Welcome

In Brief

The County Durham Observatory is centred around the idea of sharing multi-agency data around the County, particularly between those organisations within the County Durham Strategic Partnership, Thematic Partnerships, Local Strategic Partnerships, Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships, and individual partnership organisations, including the District Councils, County Durham and Tees Valley Health Authority, Durham Constabulary, the Probation Service, Job Centre Plus, and the Environment Agency.

Our Audience

When complete, the Observatory will provide a valuable source of data, information and intelligence via analysts and researchers to policy makers and service providers, who are looking to improve understanding of the complex socio-economic and other issues facing the County's communities. It will also provide monitoring information to evaluate progress and to measure the impact of public services and community strategies.
